Douglas A. Palaschak

Douglas A. Palaschak, 60, of Streator, died on Wednesday May 13, 2009 in Streator.
Born May 8, 1949 in Streator he was the first born son of Richard and Gladys (Durdan) Palaschak. He is survived by brothers, Jerome Palaschak of New Orleans and Gregory (Tammy) Palaschak of Kinsman; sisters, Mary Jane (James) Pizzala of Pewaukee, WI., Teresa (James Budish) Italiano of Elm Grove, WI. and Julia (Abraham Adger) Palaschak of Tampa, FL. His parents preceded him in death.
Douglas graduated from St. Patrick's grade school and Seneca High School. He attended the University of Illinois where he earned a degree in Agricultural Engineering. As a Professional Registered Engineer, he worked for International Harvester and Hughes Tools. He designed tools for oil exploration and traveled to Japan on the offshore drilling vessel "Discover 534". He later earned his Law degree from Southern California Institute of Law. He practiced law in California and hosted his own website where he helped many people with their legal problems.
He returned to the area about two years ago. Doug appreciated all things mechanical, especially cars, farm implements and trains. He enjoyed country living, gardening, farming, a good debate and crusading for the disadvantaged. Doug was loved and will be missed.

I first met Lawyerdude in 2007 when he showed me how to fight an unfair traffic ticket.
He not only wrote my first papers then, but through his numerous examples showed me how do some of the simpler ones myself - he was a great teacher!
And what makes him an exceptional teacher was that when he prepared a paper he would publish and let everyone learn from it.
All his work was publicly available - all you had to do was just sit down and learn.
A few days after his passing I set out to make an archive of all of his publications and papers before they are lost forever.

His work was spread at numerous sites, and below are links to their mirror hosted here.
Here is his most recent web site:

Below are some of the older ones. There are documents on them that don't appear anywhere else.

And a few final notes - the files are exactly as they appeared - including all the ads and banners.
I'll be going later through his 1000+ papers to clean them up a bit and put them in some order.

If you have a motion or some other paper of his which isn't available and if you want to share it - please let me know and I'll post it here. If you have any other questions or need to contact me, please send an email to host at thelawyerdude dot com.
Any feedback is welcome.
